What are you making?
We're building a way for millions of phones and laptops to train AI together — without anyone's data ever leaving their device. Like open-source software, but for AI training. The result is AI that belongs to everyone, not a handful of companies.
How will your project impact the world?
AI today is built on humanity's knowledge but owned by corporations. InfiniteZero flips that. When AI is trained collectively and governed openly, it becomes public infrastructure — like roads or the internet. Built for humanity, not about it.
What progress have you made?
Devnet launching in 1-2 weeks, with validator nodes active from Japan to the USA. Backed by EdgeCity & Nodes SHIFT Grants (backed by Vitalik Buterin), Cosmos Institute, UC Berkeley RDI, and founded at Oxford University. Community is live and growing.
Why are you the right person?
A PhD team spanning Oxford, South Korea, and France. Most people see the problem with AI ownership from the outside. We've been working on the solution from within — connected across OpenMined, advised by Protocol Labs.
