I wanna start with a little quiz mainly18 seconds
for the over seventies so most of you probably won't know the art side of this25 seconds
what happened 50 years ago on the 23rd30 seconds
of June remember 50 years ago 1967 it39 seconds
was the Summer of Love remember this this is the fiftieth this is the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love and45 seconds
I'm an old aging hippie 23rd of June55 seconds
1967 was the first ever global television broadcast and it was called1 minute, 4 seconds
one world and one of the presentations1 minute, 9 seconds
on that program were the Beatles live during the final recording of all you1 minute, 19 seconds
need is love which to me is like it's really a thermal agent if he had to1 minute, 27 seconds
allow me this it's like that to me was really significant the first global television broadcast was the Beatles1 minute, 34 seconds
singing to the world all you need is love and in a way that sort of become1 minute, 41 seconds
the anthem of the time and it's something which is 50 years later we hear that song and we all go yes1 minute, 49 seconds
all you need is love tim was talking yesterday about love so many teachers who said that it's about love it's all1 minute, 57 seconds
about love and there's a line in that song which they sing so fast that we miss it2 minutes, 8 seconds
nothing you can do but you can learn to be you in time nothing nothing you can do but you can2 minutes, 17 seconds
learn to be you in time it's easy all2 minutes, 25 seconds
you need is love and what are we doing2 minutes, 30 seconds
here in time 50 years later we're learning to be you we're learning to be2 minutes, 39 seconds
ourselves and what I want to start with just looking at in a sense what happened2 minutes, 48 seconds
there where we've come from today and I think we've been on this incredible2 minutes, 55 seconds
spiritual journey which started in the 60s it's more than just a spiritual journey it's a cultural journey because3 minutes, 3 seconds
that was the real beginning of the feminist movement the women's movement it was the beginning of alternative3 minutes, 10 seconds
health yoga coming in organic food the3 minutes, 18 seconds
game is gay liberation homosexuality was decriminalized last month fifty years3 minutes, 24 seconds
ago in England and it was really the beginning the sickness of the whole3 minutes, 32 seconds
spiritual Renaissance that we are have been in the last 50 years I call it the3 minutes, 40 seconds
awakening project Ken Wilber talked about as the the Atman project that man being the Indian word for self the3 minutes, 48 seconds
rediscovery of who we are and of course the Beatles two months later two months3 minutes, 56 seconds
after this global broadcast to the world all you need is love the next great headline they made was teaming up with4 minutes, 4 seconds
the Maharishi and starting to meditate the whole sixties had been powered not4 minutes, 11 seconds
whole sixties but part of the Revolution had obviously been that whole psychedelic revolution that have been going on and then there was the whole4 minutes, 19 seconds
movement it's like okay yes you can get incredible states of consciousness with4 minutes, 25 seconds
psychedelics and they great opening and yet there was this sudden realization4 minutes, 32 seconds
those guys out in India those guys out in India they know something too and it4 minutes, 39 seconds
was like okay we leave behind that let's go to India and see what they know and I was part of that and I jumped in my VW4 minutes, 47 seconds
bus and we drove to India we did we just got in a VW a Volkswagen bus and we4 minutes, 55 seconds
drove to India which was an amazing journey in itself so that was really one5 minutes, 4 seconds
of the seeds that really brought meditation into the world if they hadn't started we would have happened anyway if the Beatles hadn't started TN I think5 minutes, 13 seconds
things would have got going a lot lot slower it was inevitable it was coming but they sort of they accelerated the whole process of awakening and almost I5 minutes, 22 seconds
feel if they had a spiritual mission they were sort of building up to that and that then their their peak was 675 minutes, 31 seconds
then leaving that message all you need is love and let's try meditation and here we are we've been through the Guru5 minutes, 41 seconds
phase everybody flocking to India fighting goes gurus coming here then we went through the whole workshop phase5 minutes, 48 seconds
some of you remain but remember that ESTs and actualizations and all that stuff going off on long intensive stuff to really get down and be true to5 minutes, 57 seconds
ourselves then we had that the Buddhist wave really through the eighties Tibetan Buddhism starting coming in also it was6 minutes, 5 seconds
there the whole time of being recognized now of course you know mindfulness is the big buzzword in corporations were6 minutes, 13 seconds
talking about we must all be mindful and non-duality is like here now the edge of6 minutes, 20 seconds
that whole wave that's been building over the last 50 years we are now in a talking about non-duality which is always always being6 minutes, 30 seconds
the essence of all the great spiritual teachings it's always been there that core essence but it's been dressed up in6 minutes, 40 seconds
all this other paraphernalia and rituals and dogma I mean what's what's happened6 minutes, 48 seconds
in the past is I'm talking the distant past here there's been somebody had an6 minutes, 56 seconds
awakening experience great personal enlightenment Awakening something happened whether it was through accident7 minutes, 4 seconds
lots of meditation some spiritual darshan who knows but they had an awakening experience and discovered that7 minutes, 13 seconds
love that essence of self for themselves and obviously wanted to share it it's7 minutes, 21 seconds
really it's it's so life transforming but also so lovely and delicious that they wanted to share that with other7 minutes, 29 seconds
people and so they started telling their friends or whatever it was and their friends became followers and they perhaps got 90% of it or 80% of it but7 minutes, 39 seconds
bits they didn't quite get and bits they didn't quite understand and when they told their friends they a little bit in which wasn't there initially or their7 minutes, 48 seconds
interpretation and then their friends went on and got 90% of that and added a bit of their own stuff in and then it7 minutes, 55 seconds
got translated into another language and some of the words got translated wrong and then in another culture and it got different we've got a little different8 minutes, 3 seconds
interpretation and ended up as what we call religion I think every religion8 minutes, 13 seconds
started off from that same very very similar core revelation core spiritual awakening and then over time the truth8 minutes, 22 seconds
just got gradually lost I sometimes call it truth decay the truth gradually8 minutes, 29 seconds
decays over time bits get added in rituals get added on it gets absorbed by the culture of the time8 minutes, 36 seconds
and ends up with these things that look totally different and so people then start arguing you know is the hindu8 minutes, 44 seconds
version right was the catholic church version right they're both wrong as8 minutes, 51 seconds
religious because they've lost touch with what is that essential teaching and8 minutes, 59 seconds
what is significant I think about the this last 50 years is we've been9 minutes, 8 seconds
stripping away all that stuff that's been added on getting down to what is9 minutes, 16 seconds
that essential teaching getting down getting down to the core and that's that's what I think makes this the most9 minutes, 26 seconds
significant spiritual time in the whole of human history because what's9 minutes, 35 seconds
happening now is totally different we are again many people discovering that9 minutes, 43 seconds
essence for themselves but now it's not being sort of contained or understood9 minutes, 50 seconds
within a particular cultural framework of you know whatever it is Eastern Orthodoxy or some Taoist formula it's9 minutes, 58 seconds
not being understood within a particular framework we have access to all the10 minutes, 5 seconds
world's religions present-day and past and we do that I'm sure many of you up we go and you know read what the10 minutes, 13 seconds
Upanishads were saying two-and-a-half thousand years ago or what some of Buddha's followers were saying or what Sufi teachers were saying or what10 minutes, 22 seconds
teachers today are saying we have access to all the world's spiritual traditions and so we can actually begin to see10 minutes, 32 seconds
what is that common essence we need to see that common element there were stripping things away rather than adding10 minutes, 39 seconds
in stuff were taking away all the stuff that's been added on and of course what's really made that so much easier10 minutes, 48 seconds
today is the media we could we had access to all these teachings whether it's through books for a long time it10 minutes, 57 seconds
was books and then another thing that happened in the 1960s was cassette tapes we could actually take recordings around11 minutes, 5 seconds
with us and listen to them in your car while you were driving and then the Walkman came along we could put that put it in that pocket and listen to teachers11 minutes, 13 seconds
then of course CDs videos came in there's no videos back then videos were11 minutes, 21 seconds
now now we don't need to even cut the videotape around all the DVD with streaming online we can have access to11 minutes, 28 seconds
all that's happening in potential in this spiritual renaissance it's so so11 minutes, 35 seconds
accessible and I think we often overlook just what a precious time this is to11 minutes, 43 seconds
better have this access to global wisdom all of the global wisdom so easy and11 minutes, 49 seconds
this is part of it coming here we have a wealth of wisdom from many different11 minutes, 59 seconds
traditions from all of us each of us are on our own journey and we all have12 minutes, 7 seconds
something to share in this journey and what is happening now is rather than12 minutes, 14 seconds
there being some awakened being who is sharing his or her awakening with12 minutes, 19 seconds
everybody we are all waking up together and you see this now just now we don't12 minutes, 27 seconds
need to go to India you know you come here there's so many teachers that you know names I'm sure we all know some of12 minutes, 35 seconds
them people who here who had their own awakening experience and sharing that so12 minutes, 41 seconds
we never in our midst as a culture we have the awakened masters emerging all12 minutes, 49 seconds
of whom have come here through their own individual work their own journey their own practice and so our whole culture is12 minutes, 57 seconds
waking up when I say a whole culture of course I don't mean everybody in our culture's a lot of people are still very13 minutes, 5 seconds
fast asleep but I mean this this movement this spiritual renaissance that we're all in one way or another engaged13 minutes, 11 seconds
in we're all waking up in that way and so what I want to look at just very13 minutes, 19 seconds
briefly is what I see is the essence of13 minutes, 25 seconds
what's being rediscovered the emphasis on rediscovery nothing nothing new is13 minutes, 32 seconds
happening but we are rediscovering for ourselves that essential spiritual13 minutes, 38 seconds
message and the first thing and it's now13 minutes, 45 seconds
it's so obvious is you know what are we looking for behind everything we do what13 minutes, 52 seconds
we're altom utley looking for is give it different words to be happy to be a13 minutes, 59 seconds
peace fulfillment satisfaction we're looking for an inner state we're looking14 minutes, 8 seconds
for a better state of mind a better state of being to put in most generic form we're looking to feel okay inside14 minutes, 16 seconds
now that I'm sure for most of you is no great revelation 50 years ago that was14 minutes, 23 seconds
we were so trapped in the system that said you know life is about whatever it14 minutes, 31 seconds
was getting a refrigerator color television color it didn't exist in getting more things that that's where happiness lay now that conditioning is14 minutes, 39 seconds
still there but we're realizing no that that's not true it's not through what you have or do14 minutes, 47 seconds
but what we're looking for is is that we're looking for happiness peace of mind we give it many many different words but that's that's ultimately what14 minutes, 56 seconds
we're looking for and what our culture does is take us away from it ultimately15 minutes, 2 seconds
it takes us in the opposite direction so15 minutes, 9 seconds
[Music]15 minutes, 10 seconds
our culture hypnotizes us into the belief that you just had the right things you'll be happy and it seems to15 minutes, 17 seconds
work it seems to work but it's really covering up something much deeper and15 minutes, 23 seconds
this is I think what the Buddha realized so clearly is the reason we're unhappy15 minutes, 30 seconds
is because we think there's something missing there's something wrong we think we lack something that's why we're15 minutes, 38 seconds
unhappy not because we haven't not because we need the things to make us happy but it's the we create this15 minutes, 45 seconds
content we create this content and I know our whole culture every advertisement you see in one way or15 minutes, 54 seconds
another is making you discontent they say you cannot be happy as you are with your current credit card here's16 minutes, 1 second
something better but you know you must be dissatisfied with something and then we're going to offer you something better it's creating discontent this sad16 minutes, 11 seconds
joke is the mind in its natural state is16 minutes, 16 seconds
content but we create the discontent we16 minutes, 23 seconds
overlay it with artificially created discontents I think a wonderful16 minutes, 31 seconds
illustration of this I loved is what what the Internet has shown us is when16 minutes, 38 seconds
you go shopping on the Internet you know you go and buy yourself a new piece of clothing a new jacket or something you16 minutes, 47 seconds
go online you find the right price the right style the right color everything16 minutes, 55 seconds
and you've finally press by now and you feel good it's another three days before17 minutes, 4 seconds
it actually arrives so it isn't the jackets made you feel good it's the by pressing by now has made you feel good17 minutes, 12 seconds
and the reason you feel good is now that one particular lack that one particular discontent is now no longer bothering17 minutes, 21 seconds
you something else is going to come up probably when the jacket arise you realize it isn't quite the color you thought it was going to be and you move back into discontentedly but the point17 minutes, 30 seconds
is we are making ourselves discontent which is you know part of the essence of17 minutes, 37 seconds
non-duality is there's nowhere we need to go to find happiness we have to stop trying to go there have to stop trying17 minutes, 44 seconds
to find it it's tough or trying to find it that gets in the way of our living it17 minutes, 50 seconds
and this is probably the second thing that's almost universal in every17 minutes, 58 seconds
teaching is how our thinking gets in the way by thinking I mean that internal18 minutes, 6 seconds
conversation we have with ourselves most of the time I say most the time some of us it's probably 99.99% of the time18 minutes, 15 seconds
there's there's a chatter going on it's your own voice talking to you about what's going on and how nice that person is and that's that and what's the18 minutes, 23 seconds
weather going to be like tomorrow and God isn't the food good here and you know that conversation that goes on all the time that's going on that's hiding18 minutes, 32 seconds
that natural state of contentment which is why so many traditions have said in18 minutes, 39 seconds
one way or another we have to transcend thinking you have to go beyond the thinking mind because what you're18 minutes, 47 seconds
looking for is within you the kingdom of heaven is within you but of course our whole culture keepers looking out there18 minutes, 55 seconds
for it the third common elements are just about19 minutes, 3 seconds
every tradition is how when we get caught in our thinking because most of19 minutes, 10 seconds
our thinking most of it is about us me what I need what I don't want what's good well I think the president should19 minutes, 19 seconds
be doing or whatever it's all about us in some way or another and so we create in our thinking we create this sense of19 minutes, 28 seconds
being a separate individual self with this image of ourselves based upon our19 minutes, 36 seconds
physical body that's going through this world with its on its own particular hero's journey with all its ups and19 minutes, 44 seconds
downs and we identify with that constructed sense of self that we we19 minutes, 51 seconds
live in their thinking and again what all the traditions are saying in one way or another we have to let go of that or step out of it or not take it so20 minutes
seriously again that's got corrupted and people say oh you've got to get rid of your ego it's not about getting rid of it it's20 minutes, 8 seconds
about seeing it for what it is and not being caught up in it and be able to20 minutes, 14 seconds
come back and reconnect with that deeper sense of beingness that sense of I20 minutes, 22 seconds
that's always always there but we don't normally notice and why that sense of I20 minutes, 30 seconds
just when we say the word I am is that I that knows and I am that that's that20 minutes, 40 seconds
deeper sense of self that sense of being that sense of presence which as Tim was pointing out last night cannot be defined you're kind of put any labels on20 minutes, 49 seconds
it but we all know it all so well it's that same sense of being I that was there yesterday that was there 20 years20 minutes, 57 seconds
ago all my life my personality well that may have changed to some extent but that sense of being me21 minutes, 5 seconds
never changes and that's what they're all pointing to - coming back21 minutes, 11 seconds
recognising that the teaching that I've21 minutes, 19 seconds
really been loving at them not as teaching this it's a very simple statement on this which I find so21 minutes, 26 seconds
profound which is are the the opening lines of Patanjali Yoga Sutras and any21 minutes, 37 seconds
of you who do know do yoga most yoga schools give lip service to this I was21 minutes, 45 seconds
at a yoga ashram recently where everybody was wearing t-shirts and this phrase was all across the front of their21 minutes, 52 seconds
t-shirts and it's that line in Sanskrit which is yogas chitta vritti nirodha21 minutes, 59 seconds
some of you may know it but don't worry I've explained it this is the first line22 minutes, 7 seconds
of the Yoga Sutras written by Patanjali sutras in Eastern traditions the word22 minutes, 16 seconds
Sutra means thread and you have to ever get you go back thousand years two thousand years three thousand years22 minutes, 24 seconds
particular and some of these things were first written down they weren't really so they weren't written down when they were first discovered the whole22 minutes, 31 seconds
tradition was all everything was passed on by word of mouth and so what the teachers did would collapse their22 minutes, 39 seconds
teaching into these sutras that everybody could remember this these particular four words these particular four words ourselves all about learning22 minutes, 47 seconds
these sutras and then what you did afterwards as you pass the sutras on was you could unpack them and by unpacking22 minutes, 55 seconds
the sutras a whole meaning discourse teaching came out of it so the first23 minutes, 4 seconds
line it is actually the first line it's the second line of Patanjali yoga sutras the first line of yoga sutras for those who are really academic about it the23 minutes, 13 seconds
first line says here begins the teaching on yoga the second line philosopher ganti yogas23 minutes, 23 seconds
chitta vritti nirodha yoga it's the first one what is yoga mean I think many of you know the root meaning of yoga is23 minutes, 32 seconds
to yoke back to tie back to bring unity and the way that's often translated is23 minutes, 42 seconds
about always becoming one with God about coming one with the universe23 minutes, 50 seconds
it's about finding oneness with something that Yoga is about joining I23 minutes, 58 seconds
actually see it as something different it is about oneness it is about yoking coming back but I say this the end of24 minutes, 7 seconds
separation the end of that sense of separation that we have of me being a24 minutes, 14 seconds
separate individual little self struggling to get through this world with all my likes and dislikes and what are people going to think of me blah24 minutes, 22 seconds
blah blah blah blah that's that individual self which is separate it's got separated from that sense of - that24 minutes, 29 seconds
sense of beingness so yoga for me is is the it's oneness but it's the oneness24 minutes, 36 seconds
that comes when the separation that we live in dissolves chitta means24 minutes, 45 seconds
consciousness ritty means whirling the whirlpool the whirling of consciousness24 minutes, 53 seconds
which is the thinking world we spend so much of our time in that whirling around25 minutes
there thinking about this thinking about that that whirling of consciousness and25 minutes, 7 seconds
new Rhoda means ceasing and it's interesting how a translation of those25 minutes, 15 seconds
four words has evolved over the last 50 years ago you go back to looking at25 minutes, 22 seconds
translations of these Indian texts written you know back in the early part of the 20th25 minutes, 30 seconds
and it was about you know yoga comes from the restraining of the whirling of myself when the restraining of thought25 minutes, 38 seconds
you have to stop it thus you have to cease thinking you have to control the mind you have to stop it which as25 minutes, 45 seconds
anybody who's tried to do that you know is virtually impossible and might you might succeed if take years and years25 minutes, 52 seconds
and years and years I tried to stop it now modern translations about it's about25 minutes, 59 seconds
allowing that to cease so the end of separation comes the end our inner separation comes when we allow that26 minutes, 7 seconds
whirling of mind stuff the thinking to cease and now even more modern translations said it's not even ceasing26 minutes, 15 seconds
that has freedom from freedom from the whirling of mind stuff freedom from the thinking the end of separation comes26 minutes, 23 seconds
when there is freedom from the thinking so that's the first line which I say it's just about in every yoga school then the second two lines get26 minutes, 33 seconds
interesting the next line says then there is abiding26 minutes, 41 seconds
in the true nature of the Noah then there is abiding in the true nature of26 minutes, 49 seconds
the Noah of that which knows the self the Noah that sense of I which is aware26 minutes, 57 seconds
of every single experience we've ever had when the whirling of mind stuff ceases then there is abiding in the true27 minutes, 6 seconds
nature of the self in the true nature of the I am and then the third line is27 minutes, 14 seconds
almost always to my mind mistranslated27 minutes, 19 seconds
third line says otherwise there is identification with the whirling of mind27 minutes, 27 seconds
stuff that's where it actually says the way it's nearly always translated is27 minutes, 32 seconds
otherwise the knower the self identifies with the thoughts27 minutes, 41 seconds
but anybody who's really gone into non-duality in any depth you know that27 minutes, 48 seconds
Noah that true sense of I the I am doesn't identify with anything it is just what time is called the silent27 minutes, 56 seconds
witness it is that which is knowing experience it doesn't identify with anything the identification is happening28 minutes, 4 seconds
within the whirling of mind stuff within the thought system there is the identification within that thinking mind28 minutes, 12 seconds
you think I am this little small little vulnerable fearful hopeful excitable28 minutes, 19 seconds
personality that's all within the whirling of mind stuff that nowhere consciousness doesn't identify with that28 minutes, 28 seconds
so when we when we go beyond the whirling of mind stuff the end is the28 minutes, 36 seconds
end of separation and we come to know the true nature of I that's what it's28 minutes, 42 seconds
saying so simply and so how do we do28 minutes, 53 seconds
that and I think what has happened in this journey of the last 50 years in our29 minutes, 2 seconds
culture is as we began to dive into it29 minutes, 9 seconds
it's got simpler and simpler and simpler29 minutes, 15 seconds
and simpler easier and easier and easier you know one way of framing the whole29 minutes, 22 seconds
you know non-dual philosophy I don't particularly like using us with one way29 minutes, 30 seconds
of framing it is there's nothing to do there's nothing we actually have to do29 minutes, 38 seconds
we have to stop the doing that takes us away from it that's almost part of you know if it's a first dogma of29 minutes, 47 seconds
non-duality there's nothing to do there's nowhere else we are trying to get to that's29 minutes, 55 seconds
that's the simplicity of what's coming out of all this it just gets simpler and simpler and30 minutes, 3 seconds
simple and you know this is the theme which is in a part of so many of the people here who have things to share is30 minutes, 10 seconds
their own way of their own simplicity of what it's all about and I think it's30 minutes, 22 seconds
simpler it just gets easier and easier and easier if there's nothing to do that cannot be hard what becomes difficult is30 minutes, 31 seconds
when we try to say well what do I need to do in order not to do anything and there's a lot of lot of that around and30 minutes, 40 seconds
in fact most of these traditions or the practices are all about finding ways30 minutes, 47 seconds
through around this whole conundrum of how to let go how to completely let go30 minutes, 54 seconds
and as I was saying this morning in the meditation you know the biggest battle people having meditation is how to stop31 minutes, 2 seconds
thinking I must go I must stop my thoughts know just step out of them and that's what I would like to sort of31 minutes, 10 seconds
offer you here this afternoon as a simple practice that I find probably the31 minutes, 20 seconds
simplest practice I've come across for myself and for the moment I probably say31 minutes, 28 seconds
something different another year but for the moment the most profound and31 minutes, 33 seconds
valuable practice is to realize we can31 minutes, 40 seconds
all anytime we choose we can pause we31 minutes, 49 seconds
can stop thinking for a moment we could just pour them whatever you're doing now wherever your mind is going it may not31 minutes, 57 seconds
be following me but if it isn't then just hear this bit wherever your mind is going whatever it's thinking about bla bla bla bla bla32 minutes, 5 seconds
stop it's going to come back again probably about two seconds later it will come back and you'll be off on some32 minutes, 13 seconds
other journey whatever it is but we have that power to pause just for a moment we32 minutes, 20 seconds
can step out of that habitual in a dialogue with ourselves and what do we32 minutes, 29 seconds
notice when we do that I might someone ask anybody say if I might summarize32 minutes, 36 seconds
what usually comes up firstly we become aware of the present oh there's the32 minutes, 44 seconds
sound of that fan I hadn't noticed oh there's this there's something else oh I've got an itch in my body the present32 minutes, 51 seconds
reveals itself again people say oh I've got to be more pressing there's nothing you can do to be present you've got to32 minutes, 58 seconds
stop doing the things that take you out of the present and what takes us out of the present is their thinking their thinking is always about the past or the33 minutes, 6 seconds
future or something in some way or another so when you pause your thinking just in that moment of pausing you33 minutes, 14 seconds
become more present we become more present to your experience in that33 minutes, 20 seconds
moment in the world but that's just that's just the beginning that's33 minutes, 26 seconds
slightly entry point then in that33 minutes, 33 seconds
pausing noticing how what does it feel not what do you noticing how does it33 minutes, 40 seconds
feel when you pause like that and again the sort of words that people come up33 minutes, 48 seconds
with very often it's like oh there's a sense of relief or sense of ease or it's33 minutes, 57 seconds
okay or some people may talk about other there's a greater sense of spaciousness34 minutes, 2 seconds
or a sense of clarity great a sense of my own presence my own being34 minutes, 11 seconds
or as you go deeper like oh yes Here I am you recognize here is that sense of i34 minutes, 19 seconds
am-ness which has been there all the time it's there so what we're doing when we're pausing is beginning to come back34 minutes, 28 seconds
to true nature and as you do this and we34 minutes, 41 seconds
just do it in our own way but just just pausing noticing how it is what we34 minutes, 49 seconds
notice is it's actually enjoyable it's34 minutes, 56 seconds
actually what we've been looking for all along which we hoped the new jacket would get us but was covered up by the35 minutes, 5 seconds
wanting it the missing it the need when we pause that pause of thinking for the wanting we begin to get in touch with35 minutes, 14 seconds
what it is we're actually looking for all along the happiness the ease the peace of mind where if we want to call35 minutes, 20 seconds
it and it's lovely and so the next part35 minutes, 27 seconds
of the practice is to actually save on that to enjoy it to actually pause oh35 minutes, 34 seconds
yes this feels and allow ourselves to35 minutes, 41 seconds
sink into savoring it recognizing that sense of feeling good35 minutes, 48 seconds
and to actually love it we can actually35 minutes, 56 seconds
begin to love our own inner sense of beingness when we stop thinking just at that moment we just come back to that36 minutes, 4 seconds
ease that delicious quietness stillness spaciousness we want to call it then36 minutes, 11 seconds
take time to actually love to really love it because the more we do36 minutes, 21 seconds
that the more we value it the more attractive it becomes the less we are36 minutes, 30 seconds
drawn off into all these stories that society is continually telling us about36 minutes, 35 seconds
what we need to be happy so this I think36 minutes, 41 seconds
is probably the most valuable36 minutes, 50 seconds
application of love that we can apply in ourselves there's many many other areas36 minutes, 58 seconds
of love but to actually love our own essence is reinforcing our connection37 minutes, 5 seconds
with that experience because you in that37 minutes, 12 seconds
sense that that i am-ness which is always there that is the beloved that is37 minutes, 20 seconds
